Well guys buckle up this will be a long one..
On Sunday it was the 3rd annual Ian Statham (bean) memorial trophy. To be fair for myself and my family it was an emotional but an amazing day. It was nice to see and hear the love that people still have for Bean.when the community that is Ibstock are asked to show up you do in spades. There are so many people that I have to thank for organising everything and making the day go smoothly.
Firstly to all the football players from ibstock and Newbold Verdon thank you for giving your time and playing a very good match, to the ref gurk well done.
To Alex the best raffle ticket seller you will ever meet.
Andy whitlock who organised the shirt and many many more things
Stu white main man for the charity.
Elysia White the best sausage roll maker in history.
Abby cake maker exstraudinar.
Dez and adam and gurk for organising the players, and you reading this for turning up to help Together Against Cancer a charity that stepped up for Bean when he needed help.xx Thanks also to my staff that worked so hard on the day, and last but not least my sis l*z xx

Hi all.
Just a short reminder the Whimsey will be open
Saturday 12-11
Sunday 2- 10ish
This is due to the charity football match being played at the welfare ground on Sunday.
If you have the morning free why not join us to cheer on the teams. The lads have given up there Sunday morning to support the amazing charity Together Against Cancer. Please remember the event is cash only and we hope to see you there xx

Coming up on our charity day this year, we have another great tshirt being raffled off (Leicester legends) this will be cash only, please see our bar staff or andy (teach) to be in with the chance to win this great prize!
We also have a raffle/ auction with lots of amazing prizes all donated to us from the customers and the amazing community we live in! We also have a cake sale going on at the welfare while the lads are giving it there all playing football! ( all of these will be cash only)
