Pick up your passport here and spend the next few months exploring the fabulous pubs of Sussex and picking up stamps along the way. We’ve just tapped this lovely Aurora Australis (in honour of our visiting Australian 😉) from , so why not buy a pint to start your journey? Happy travels!

Thanks to our lovely friends we have some tickets available for tonight’s T20 match against - if you fancy going, all you have to do is buy a drink at the bar and ask if there are any tickets left! There aren’t many, so get in quick - first come, first served! When they’re gone, they’re gone 🏏

Just a reminder, we’re open from 12 - 7 today. It’s not often we mention a heat wave in May but if you want somewhere to cool off and hydrate we have a great lineup of cask beer, keg beer and cider to help. The weather is set fair for the whole of next week so what better way to spend a sunny evening than watching traditional Morris dancing outside your local? We have the lovely brighton_morris with us on Thursday evening from 7:30 doing their thing. Audience participation is encouraged but not compulsory 😉. Come and join us!

This one crept up on us but we have another long weekend coming up and this one will be sunny! We’re open on Monday and for longer on Sunday, and we’ve stocked up with lovely hoppy pales, summer stouts, cider and lager. Come and join us - it’s important to stay hydrated during the hot weather!

If you’re coming down on Bank Holiday Monday to watch England Cricket Women take on White Ferns in the third T20 match at Sussex CCC County Ground, we’re open from midday until around 7:00 pm serving our usual selection of great cask beer, keg beer, cider and wine. Now pray for sunshine!

Now that the dust has settled after our Birthday Beer Festival last weekend, we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came down and helped us celebrate! It was lovely to also see some (not so!) old faces that were with us on our opening weekend 11 years ago!
As we carry on into May, we’re thrilled to be showcasing some original artwork by renowned street artist Req. All bar one of the pieces are for sale, so come and have a look, and if you’re interested in anything, let us know! 🎨

Day 2 of our 11th Birthday Beer Festival is underway! We had some changes yesterday and these beauties are now pouring - the Bitter lasted all of an afternoon and the second and final cask is on now, so grab it while you can! We’re open until 10pm today, 7pm tomorrow and as a special treat 12-6pm on Monday. Come and help us celebrate 🥳

🎉🎉🎉 TODAY’S THE DAY! 🎉🎉🎉. Come and join us for our 11th Birthday Beer Festival this weekend, Friday-Monday. These are the beers we’re starting with but there will obviously be some changes, so get in quick! We also found some old photos from just before we opened, and on our opening night - things look a bit different now! Hope to see you over the weekend 🍻
