We were proud sponsors of the Junior Open Houghton-le-Spring Golf Club over the weekend.

It was a fantastic event with 26 juniors competing, with some excellent golf on display. Congratulations to Overall Winner Olivia Livingstone and Leo Eltringham for their outstanding performances.

A big thank you to Houghton-le-Spring Golf Club for organising such a successful day – we’re delighted to continue supporting junior golf in our community.

Yesterday we hosted our Junior Open, saw some talented young golfers and some great scores.

On a very blustery last Saturday our Junior Club Championship was played with some fantastic golf despite the conditions.
Just pipping Oliver Ridley 88/82=170 into Runners Up spot on countback was Harry Grayson 92/78=170.
Our Junior Club Champion 2025 scoring 80/86=166 is Jacob Willis, congratulations from all at HLSGC ⛳️

Junior Captain 2025 Leo Eltringham on his Captains Day in June. Leo had to wait for a rescheduled date but made the most of it raising over £860 for St Benedict’s Hospice as well as some much appreciated funds for the junior section.

Congratulations to Lisa Conboy-Bryson who won today's DCGU Juniors Autumn meeting at Houghton-le-Spring Golf Club.
Lisa's (-1) nett score saw her pip Oscar O'Connor on countback, with Jake Morgan-Scott in 3rd with a nett score of (+2).
Best Gross was won by Roan Smith with Alex Gordon taking 2nd best Gross.

The girl only went and won it!
Lilly-Anne has qualified for the final of the Race to Woodhall Spa on 18th August in first place at the area final today with 35 points in challenging conditions.
