From the field to the Crown Inn

As part of British Food Fortnight, we’re celebrating some of the brilliant local suppliers who help us put good food on your plate.

This week, we had a delivery of fresh, locally grown veg from Derek Crush at Daylands Farm in Ashurst – and we couldn’t resist getting a few snaps of Derek dropping it off!

We’re lucky to have fantastic growers and producers right on our doorstep, and using local ingredients wherever we can is something we’re really proud of.

Fresh from the farm, straight to the pub, and soon to be on your plate. 👨‍🌾🥬

New on the menu: Pub Pies

There’s something about autumn that calls for a proper pub pie.

We’ve given our pie menu a little refresh, with some new additions joining a few Crown favourites — all served with proper pub sides and plenty of comfort.

Which one will you be trying first?

🍴 View the full pie menu via the link in our bio.
