Who’s excited to see the end result of The Tanners now that work has started? 😍

People ask me if I’m sad it’s not going to be a pub anymore, the answer is ‘no’! I think the building will make a beautiful house and it means that the pub will always be in my mind just the way I remember it!

I was in there last week talking to the builders. They have made a great start and the cupboard in the entrance where the till was (years ago it was the off sales counter) has been removed. I wanted to do that all the time I was there and it was great to see how much bigger it made the space.

Whoever gets to live there is a very lucky person.... if only I could win the lottery I would buy the building in a heartbeat! 😍

So - it's officially 'SOLD'! Signs have gone up over the past week. I can't wait to see the renovations take place, I wonder if I can knock on the door and ask for a guided tour...... ;-) Good luck to who ever has bought 'The Tanners' and I hope it gives you many years of pleasure! :-) Xx

So - The Tanners as we know it is 'under offer' and is set to be residential. So happy for a great 7 years there and look forward to watching its progress into a lovely home. :-)

CARLSBRO DSP TRAVELLER PORTABLE 150W P.A. SYSTEM - £200 (also advertised elsewhere).

I am a solo singer/guitarist and this is the PA I have used for regular pub gigs for a year or so now. It packs down like a Transformer, has loads of FX channels, good reverb, punchy volume and all in all is an awesome PA.

You can plug jack (guitar) or XLR (mic) into the channels, mix with top, bass and reverb and there are 16 different FX to choose, as well as mixer and input for iPod for those break time silences/backing tracks.

The reason for sale is I’ve come into possession of another similar one, so the Carlsbro and I are parting company.

Would suit gigging solo or duo, would even work for the vocals in a band. This thing is still on sale new at about £325 and it’s a year or so old, clean, in perfect working order and the only fault is it has one caster missing from the bottom.

Excuse the ‘stock photo’ but it can be seen working on request.

The 3 offers are all for 'change of use'....

One as a restaurant, one as offices and one as a charity...

Whoever is looking into the restaurant option I fear hasn't done their homework..... ;-)
