It’s set to be a very warm weekend here in Hornsea, and while we absolutely love seeing all of your four-legged visitors, in hotter weather, it may sometimes be kinder to leave them at home where they can stay cool and comfortable.
Our regular visitor Winston has helped us put together a few important reminders for keeping dogs safe in the heat 🐾
🐶 Never leave your dog in a car, even for a few minutes.
🐶 We have water bowls available around the pub, but we always recommend bringing your own water and bowl too.
🐶 We do have some shaded areas, however these can become busy and we can’t guarantee availability. Inside the pub itself can also become very warm.
🐶 Hot weather can affect dogs differently and they may behave out of character if they become overheated or stressed. Try to watch out for any behaviour changes.
🐶 If you’re leaving your dog at home, make sure they have plenty of fresh drinking water available.
Please help us keep all pups happy and safe this weekend 🫶🏼
