Over the past few months, a number of members have asked if we could bring more live entertainment into the Lounge on a Saturday night.

Well… we’re giving it a go! 🍻🎉

Here’s two FREE live music nights coming to the Lounge:

🎙️ Saturday 18th July
Griff – Performing a fantastic mix of hits from the 70s right through to today’s chart favourites.

🎤 Saturday 15th August
Billie – Songs From Every Decade
A brilliant journey through the decades with Motown, Northern Soul, Pop, Rock & Roll, Rock classics and so much more.

🕡 Lounge Open: 18:30 - 23:30
🎵 Admission: FREE

These evenings are very much a trial. If they’re well supported and everyone enjoys them, we’d love to make live Saturday night entertainment a much more regular feature at the Club… potentially even every week! 🙌

We’re looking forward to welcoming all the lads back, including the new faces to the club for their 2026/27 season.

It’s great to see the team continue on alongside the other societies we support, including our Golf, multiple Darts Teams, Pigeon Society, and football Supporters Bus.

For social clubs like ours, societies and teams like these play a huge part in keeping the doors open!

Let’s get behind the lads next season and get some members to their games to support them! 🫡

With the 2026/2027 season coming up fast, there is a lot going on behind the scenes at the Coms. We have had a whole new restructure in management, Cameron Surtees has stepped in to replace the retired Dan Geth. There has also been a flurry of transfers both in and out of the club so watch out for some announcements of summer signings coming very soon!

The lads are back on grass next week with some training getting going on Tuesday, this will lead us up to our pre-season schedule where we will compete in the Annual Colonel Cup in memory of Shaun Bentley. We also have fixtures pencilled in against Penshaw Catholic Club and Peterlee Town.

Hopefully big things to come for the lads this season with Surt at the wheel!
