Ideally situated near the border between Devon and Cornwall on the outskirts of a beautiful little Devonshire market town called Holsworthy, The Rydon Inn is certainly a place not to be missed. As of the 25th June 2012, the ownership of this beautiful local pub changed hands. We the Prouse family are now the very proud owners of The Rydon Inn and are very excited to welcome you in sharing our jour
ney in our new venture. Heather & David Prouse are the heart & soul behind the scenes and their hard graft has meant that we can all join in on what we hope will be your enjoyable experience. Richard Prouse and Sophie Glaze are our new managers and will be your friendly faces behind the bar, on the phone, or serving our delicious food. Other Prouse family members you will see floating around are the daughters Charlotte, Hollie & Laura helping out as waitresses and general running of The Rydon. Our last family member Peter Prouse is our wonderful maintenance man helping keep this place running sufficiently and looking after its beautiful structure. Of course your dining experience wouldn’t be complete without our wonderful staff behind those Kitchen doors including our very creative and clever chefs Sarah & Will, and the kitchen wouldn’t be complete without our hard working kitchen porters. Other members of our team include our waitresses and bar tenders and extended family member, Sarah, who has helped us out tremendously. Our garden is transforming gradually with the help and skills of our gardener Graham, who you may see pottering around. We have had wonderful local support so far and long may this continue, from painters, decorators, electricians, and carpenters and of course you the public enjoying our local food and drink.
