French cider 🍏 vs. Natural wine 🍷—who takes the crown?

​This Sunday, we’re getting together with F***y's | Wine | HD9 and Cidermugs to pour some amazing French ciders alongside great French natural wines.

The idea is simple: F***y & Jack have matched them up round by round, so you can taste through and pick your favourites as you go.

Who will reign champion?! You decide!

​If you fancy learning a bit more about the makers and what’s in the glass, we’re also doing a guided tasting at 3:00 PM.

​Tickets for the tasting are £15 (link in bio to grab a spot), or just come down, grab a glass, and hang out.

Also our beer tankards are back for one final time. Yep, after this run we will never ever do it again.

Celebrate Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival with us Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival

Finally we are doing a Vocation Brewery mini tap takeover. On the Lindrs we will be pouring Life & Death IPA, Life & Death Session IPA and Fortune Teller DIPA. We will also have our usual line up of beers as well as specials from Verdant Brewing Co and GlassHouse Beer Co

We're even doing a flippin Vocation bottle share special on Sunday from 2pm and we have some bangers to try from Vocation's cellar! £5 entry on the day! Just turn up and join us 🍻

On Sunday all day long we also welcome F***y's | Wine | HD9 and Cidermugs who will be showing off the best french cider and natural wines to see which the french actually do best! Sample by the glass and vote on the day!

If you prefer something more in-depth, both F***y and Jack will be on site holding a tasting upstairs from 3pm to go through all of the drinks they've brought with them! Tickets are £15 for the guided tasting and you can book in advance on our NEW website www.obriensbeercafe.com or on the day.

What's more just a little reminder we have a new festival cup this year! You can purchase them from us and Coopers Yard for £2 and then you will receive a 10% discount on every drink you buy from either bar when you bring the cup back for a refill!
