Happy New Year! It is January and that means club night is on Wednesday this week. We look forward to seeing, and hearing, you there.

Just to confirm our final ACT club night will be on Wednesday March 6th - but with a difference. We have managed to book Steve Hicks and Lynn Goulbourn as guest artists for our final night. This will be a free concert for those who have supported the club over the years. We will let you have more details as they become available.

Dear friends

As some of you are already aware, Paul Sherlaw passed away on Saturday morning. Whilst the news is not unexpected, it is felt with profound sadness.

Paul, using Chris' words, "the greater half of Desperately Seeking Snow White" was a staunch supporter of this Club and live music.

When we meet on Wednesday, we will be able to share memories, but perhaps the best tribute, to share music.

He will be sorely missed.

Hi everyone,

This months feature artist is David Collins, we have finally persuaded him to swap from starting the evening to finishing it. He is likely to be joined by Mike Underhill for this performance. Hope to see you all there.

Advanced notice ‘ December 6th will be our Christmas Party with mulled wine and mince pies, so brush up on your Christmas songs for then.

This Wednesday, 2nd November - Vagbond Fires are our featured artists.
Alan Diprose and Andy Robinson are both are singers, songwriters and musicians in their own right. With guitar, mandocello, and flute - and anything else Andy may bring - they add harmony to their musicianship. Looking forward to seeing you there.

For fans of "Desperately Seeking Snow White" on Thursday 3rd Nov, they are playing at " The Tump Folk Club", the Humber pub, 1 Humber Ave, Coventry CV3 1BA.

October's feature artist is guitarist extraordinaire Mark Guyatt. With or without his technological gizmos, he plays some amazing pieces of music.

Future guests are Alan and Andy, known as "Vagabond Fires" in November and Bob Tibbetts in December. In addition we plan to hold an extra night in December on Wednesday 21st for our Christmas party.

"Hinckley ACT runs Club Nights on the first Wednesday of the month. We are in the unusual setting of a factory unit but provide a small concert atmosphere with stage, p.a. and lights.
We charge £3 to cover our costs of the alcohol and P.R.S. music licences.
