🍿 THURSDAY 4th - SCREEN QUEENS
Join us for our third round of Screen Queens, with a screening of But I'm a Cheerleader - A satirical romantic comedy directed by Jamie Babbit, the story follows Megan, a seemingly perfect high school cheerleader played by Natasha Lyonne. Although she has a football-player boyfriend and fits the image of the "ideal" American teen, her family and friends become convinced she's a le***an because she doesn't seem interested in boys and connects more with girls.
The movie mixes bright, exaggerated visuals and comedy with serious themes about identity, conformity, and the harm caused by conversion therapy. Over time, it became a cult classic in LGBTQ+ cinema because of its humour mixed with positive messages about self-acceptance.
Grab some popcorn (available at the bar) and pull up a seat for this 1999 movie that continues to sparkle in q***r cinema history.

🎤 FRIDAY 5th - MISS RUBY'S FRIDAY CLINIC
As is tradition, we'll be starting the weekend by pumping Rubella Vaxine with spirits and letting her loose on the DJ booth!
She will be taking song requests and hosting karaoke (plus performing a few numbers herself) from 7:00pm - 12:00am

The iconic drag duo will be back at EC for another evening of cabaret and comedy from 9:30pm

It's that time of the month where Rubella Vaxine takes to the stage with a clipboard and only a vague idea of where she is!
What's the topic? No idea!
Are the questions easy? We don't know!
Are the answers even correct? Probably not!
• Entry to Miss Ruby's Mother Tucking Quiz is £5 (cash only) per player, which will be used as the cash prize
• Mobile phones are not permitted during rounds
• No more than 6 players per team
We highly recommend dropping us a message to reserve a table! Ruby will hit the stage from 7:00pm to 10:00pm
🎲 MONDAY 8th - HINCKLEY & BURBAGE BOARD GAMERS
Join us (the second Monday & the third Sunday of every month) for an evening of board games and banter, with The Hinckley and Burbage Board Gamers - The HBBG!
Feel free to bring a favourite and show us the ropes, or see what we have available on rotation. The HBBG are inclusive of all players, so you're certain to find a group and make new friends along the way.
We'll be open exclusively for The HBBG from 7:00pm - 10:00pm
