Unfortunately, this Saturday and Tuesday only … we will have to close the kitchen on Saturday (tomorrow 30th May) and on Tuesday 2nd June. This is due to being unable to arrange cover for the kitchen during staff annual leave, we have managed to rota in our chefs for every other day but were unable to have appropriate cover for Saturday and Tuesday service. We obviously don’t want to be closing the kitchen any day, especially so early on, but it’s the only option available (other than cancelling a holiday abroad, and I really can’t do that)

The bar will still be open for drinks and we have DJ Vinyl Ritchie Saturday evening so come along and have a ball,

We really appreciate your understanding, sorry again but we will see you for brunch and tapas on all the other days 🙂

Our coffee and cake has gone down an absolute storm, last week we had GF Carrot cake, GF Chocolate Brownie and Lemon Layer Cake …

We have sold out and tomorrows delivery will be more brownie, more carrot cake and some GF Bakewell flapjacks

We are hugely thankful to Tracey at Frydays Cod & Cake for making these absolutely DELICIOUS cakes, they really are the best we’ve tasted and to be able to work with such a talented local business is just the cherry on the cake (pun intended)!

Coffee is supplied by another Whaley business Ground Effect Coffee Roasters who are a local roast house and supply many businesses in the peaks and beyond

Thankfully, power is restored 😮‍💨 … unfortunately, as we have had no power before we opened. We haven’t been able to prep for brunch, so we will start food service from 1pm (Tapas Time and Bar Menu)

Thank you to the local businesses who offered to take some of our food to their personal freezers! You’re a gem and thankfully we didn’t need to do that.

We’ve monitored fridge and freezer temps and they have maintained safe temperatures, so thankfully we haven’t lost any food! Only the morning trade which we can deal with.

Bar open now, kitchen from 1pm! Thanks everybody and see all soon ❤️

Our street has incurred a power cut and as a result, we have no power to our building. Electricity north west are aware, but until we have power we are unable to open 😭 we are praying that power will be restored soon or we will loose all the food in our fridges and freezers and our cellar will heat up…. We are absolutely gutted and potentially we will loose thousands of pounds of stock and trade 😭
