Well what a last night that was !!!!!! The place was packed, not sure we could have got anymore in! Just shows what this pub means to the community, what an atmosphere, a massive thank you to everyone that has supported us over the last few years at the greyhound, we appreciate it so much...
Also a massive thanks to our staff, they didn't stop last night, .❤️
A big thanks to Jasmine Thai, their food is amazing! The take away hours are as follows.... but i know they are trying to stay local so please continue to support Kate and her team....

Sunday open 1 till 8 pm ,
Monday close
Tuesday till Saturday 12-3 pm 5-9:30 pm.
Sunday 12 October is the last day open 1till 8 pm.

Unfortunately our last night at the Greyhound will be Friday the 3rd October. We were unable to come to an agreement with Mcmullens over a new contract and had the make the difficult decision to hand it back.
We have had a number of meetings with Mcmullens over the late week or two to try keep the doors open, but unfortunately due to increasing costs and now higher rents this was not feasible.
As publicans who have been in the trade for over 20 years and members of this amazing community we are very sad to see this pub close.
We are unsure of the future of the greyhound.
We would like to thank all of our amzing staff, family and friends for their continued support and obviously to the fantastic customers who have supported us over the last 3 and half years.
As stated Friday the 3rd October will be out last night, we look forward to seeing you for a drink.
