You probably know him as the person behind the bar, but how well do you really know our landlord? 👀
We thought it was time to put him in the spotlight and ask him a few questions!
Q: What made you want to become a landlord?
A: I have no other discernible skills other than talking to people, pouring a good pint, and drinking said pints
Q: What’s your favourite thing about running the pub?
A: Watching people enjoy the environment the team and I have created, nothing better than seeing the satisfaction on someone’s face when they take their first bite of food! And I like the short commute to work
Q: What’s your favourite drink or dish from the pub?
A: L***r in summer, Guinness in winter, burgers and chicken wings all year round
Q: What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
A: I have a crippling fear of balloons
Q: If you had to describe the pub in three words, what would they be?
A: Warm. Welcoming. Local.
