We just want to say a huge thank you for keeping our tables full and for all the support since we opened our doors. We’re truly feeling the love and couldn’t be happier to call this our new home.

If you haven’t joined us yet, Sundays are the perfect excuse — our Sunday set menu is now in full swing, featuring a proper roast alongside our usual à la carte favourites.

After a short delay,and with our sincere apologies — we’re excited to announce that Morelli Restaurant will officially open on Monday, 9th February on Hemel Old Town High Street.
Thank you all for your patience, support, and kind messages along the way, it truly means a lot to our team.

We’re excited to share that Old Tom’ is under new management!

From January, this space in the heart of our charming Old Town will be transformed into an Italian restaurant, celebrating authentic flavours, good wine, and long nights around the table 🍷

A huge thank you to Sam, the previous owner, for everything he’s built here and for handing over such a loved space, we’re proud to carry it forward

Chef Fabrizio Morelli and all his staff can’t wait to open the doors, share what we’ve been working on, and welcome you all.

Following on from Monday’s post, we’ve been truly blown away by all your amazing comments.

When we first opened, our goal was to bring something a little different to Hemel - and judging by your feedback, it feels like we’ve done just that.

While for a variety of reasons it is no longer the right fit for us, we genuinely believe that someone new will take what we’ve built and make it their own, and we are confident of finding the perfect buyer.

This weekend will be a bittersweet one. We’re sad to say goodbye, but we’re so excited to welcome you all for our final two nights.

As always, we’ll have DJ on the decks from 8pm Friday, bringing the tunes on his final set.

So… who’s joining us for some of those scrummy cocktails? 🎉❤️

To our valued customers,

After much consideration, we have sadly decided to close Old Tom’s @ Thirty-One, with our last trading day being this Saturday, 26th July.

We will look back on our journey with pride, having created a safe space where thousands of memories were made. Whether it was a first date, an anniversary, or a simple catch-up with friends, thank you for choosing us to host those moments.

With our other commitments, amid the relentless struggles small businesses face, it has become impossible for us to give the business what it needs to grow. For that reason, it is time for us to say farewell.

To our wonderful team, both past and present, what a ride it’s been eh! Thank you for your hard work and unwavering smiles.
