A very difficult afternoon for mullion 2nds , we travelled to holmans with a squad full of injuries and players away , we started slowly and within 20 minutes were 2;0 down to a very strong holmans side , but we never gave up and although holmans had most of the possession we hit back on the break Charlie Bennett’s getting us back in the game , then came a really bad injury to our winger Harry bravery ( we wish him well in his recovery) , on came 16 year old Aston hill who made a impact scoring to make it 2:2 at the break , with players now struggeling with there injuries , but putting everything in to helping the team holmans got on top again with two quick goals 4:2 mullion pushed again and after another injury to a mullion player Callum peters came on at left back , mullion had a bit of possession and got a corner , the ball got cleared only for Callum to hit a sweet shot in to the bottom corner , 4:3 then came holmans again with mullion pushing to try and level the scores holmans scored two more to make the final score 6:3 . Although we lost the game the heart the players put in was fantastic ⚽️
Motm Jacob Mitchell playing in goal as our usual keeper is away , pulled off some fantastic saves to keep us in the game well done Jacob
