🎃💀👻What a day and night of fun we had yesterday! 🎃👻🥂

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the Halloween fun! The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. With so much going on in Helmsley and so many lovely places to visit, we’re so grateful to everyone who chose to spend their day or evening with us. ❤️

A massive thank you to the fabulous Adrian Salamon, who was absolutely mind
boggling! 🪄 We’re still trying to work out how on earth he did some of those tricks! What a talent! We’re so hoping to have him back in December if he has any free dates, so watch this space.🤞🤞🪄✨

And congratulations to our best dressed winner, Maleficent! 🖤 Those horns were fantastic! We didn’t catch your name, but what a brilliant costume! Thank you to everyone who dressed up.

Anyway, we’re back open today, Our Sunday Bottomless Brunch is back, and as it’s been so popular, we’re extending it to Thursdays from next week, meaning even more booking slots will be available! 🥂 bottemless brunch must be booked in advance.

If brunch isn’t your thing, pop in for our Italian coffees, deliciously thick Italian hot chocolate, cakes, pastries, freshly prepared food, fine w**es, cocktails, handpulled ales, b**rs and plenty more.

We’re open until 11pm tonight, with the garden open until 9pm. Thank you again for such a brilliant Halloween. We really did have the best time! ❤️

🎃🖤 HALLOWEEN IS FINALLY HERE 🖤🎃

We’ve got a lovely evening planned tonight, with the fantastic Adrian Salamon joining us from 7pm! 🪄

Adrian will be making his way around the tables performing some incredible close up magic, with a few spooky twists thrown in for Halloween! Expect plenty of surprises and tricks happening right in front of you!

👻 We’ll also be having our best dressed competition, so witches, wizards, little monsters
and four legged fiends are all welcome! There’ll be prizes for the best dressed and plenty of sweets for the little ones too. The spookier, the better!

🍸 We’ve got some rather spooky cocktails on the menu, along with the return of our Speakeasy classics, fine w**es, b**rs hand pulled ales and all your usual favourites.

🇮🇹 We’ll also be serving our Italian food throughout the day, along with our traditional Italian coffee and gorgeous thick Italian hot chocolate by Caffè Vergnano, perfect for this colder weather!

Whether you’re coming along for the magic, something to eat, a few cocktails or just fancy popping in, we’d love to see you, 🍬 And of course, we'll have plenty of sweets ready for any little trick or treaters popping by! 🎃�

🎃🕸️ Halloween Week 🕸️🎃

We will be all decked out for Halloween this week and looking forward to a bit of spooky fun!

🪄 Saturday from 7pm we’re joined by the fantastic Adrian Salamon, a York based magician and member of The Magic Circle! Adrian specialises in incredible close-up magic, sleight of hand and mind-boggling tricks right before your eyes, with a few spooky twists thrown in for Halloween! 🎩✨

👻 Saturday is also our Best Dressed Competition! The spookier the better, with prizes up for grabs! Little witches, wizards and four-legged fiends are all very welcome, so don’t be shy with the costumes! 🧙‍♀️🐾

🍸 We’ll also have some spooky cocktails to get you into the Halloween spirit, and our Speakeasy Cocktail Menu is back! Full of old prohibition classics, a few darker creations and some of our own signatures!

🍰 Wednesday & Thursday ~ Our afternoon teas are available until 6pm, including our Tipsy Teapots for those who fancy something a little different! These do need to be pre booked.

🥂 Sunday ~ Our Bottomless Brunch is back, with delicious food and unlimited Prosecco! £45 per person and pre booking is essential.

Our riverside garden is still open until 9pm, although we have to admit it’s much cosier inside at this time of year! 🍷🕯️

Whether you’re popping in for coffee, something to eat, a lovely drink or a bit of Halloween magic, we’d love to see you!

It’s always wonderful to receive a recommendation and a little recognition for what we’re doing. 💖

We’re so lucky to be surrounded by so many fantastic local businesses and attractions here in Helmsley, so it’s a real pleasure to be included amongst them.

We’ve had a couple of cancellations for our Sunday Bottomless Brunch today due to the weather, and quite understandably too! 💨☔️

So we now have a few tables available from 3.30pm onwards 💖

If you fancy braving the weather and joining us for one of our Italian sharing boards with bottomless Prosecco, or if Bloody Marys if that’s more your thing, just get in touch! The garden is still open and our outdoor blankets to keep you warm are arriving next week 🤞🔥 🥂

We will still be serving our full food menu throughout the afternoon and evening, so plenty to choose from if you fancy something different.

And of course, we have our award winning cocktails, a beautiful selection of fine Italian w**es, b**rs, ales, traditional Italian coffee and our wonderfully rich, dense Italian hot chocolate if you just fancy popping in for something to warm you up.

The weather isn’t looking too great this weekend, but we’ve got plenty to tempt you out of the house!

Our new food and cocktail menus are finally out tomorrow, with some lovely new dishes, a few old favourites returning and some warmer options now the colder weather is setting in.

From our Italian sharing platters and antipasti to grilled paninis, open focaccias and new specials, there’s plenty to choose from.

We also have our Sunday Bottomless Brunch, with Italian sharing platters and unlimited Prosecco for £45 per person. This does need to be pre booked, so please get in touch if you’d like to join us.🥂

We’ve also got our lovely Italian Caffè Vignano coffee, proper thick Italian hot chocolate and our very own homemade coffee liqueur if you fancy a little something extra. It’s also absolutely lovely in our Espresso Martinis!🍸

On the drinks side, we have beautiful Italian w**e, Prosecco, hand pulled ales, b**rs, our award winning cocktails, mocktails and lots of alcohol free options too.

Well, this week’s been a blast so far, and we’ve got a few more things up our sleeves!

As we head into the colder months and the Christmas period, we’ve decided to extend our opening hours once again. 🕰️

Much like last year, and following quite a few enquiries about opening earlier, from November we’ll be opening our doors earlier for morning coffees, breakfast and brunch!

So whether you fancy popping in for a traditional Italian coffee, a bit of breakfast, brunch or something a little stronger later in the day, we’ll have you covered. ☕️🥂🍸🍺

Then, as always, we’ll be carrying on into the afternoon and evening with our Italian food, sharing platters, w**es, cocktails and all the usual favourites.

Throughout December we’ll also be opening seven days a week, before returning to our normal trading hours in January.

We've also got a few new faces joining our little team, which will really help us go that extra mile, especially as we head into the busy Christmas period. We're really looking forward to welcoming them on board and introducing them to you all!

We’ll pop our new opening times and menus up very soon, and thank you as always for keeping us so busy, we are so grateful. 🥹🙏💖

🎃🍂Our new food and drinks menus are coming next week, and we can’t wait for you to try them!🍁🎃

As we do every winter, we’re giving wh**ky a little extra attention, with bottles from around the world. Expect Prohibition’s classics with plenty of wh**ky and cognac, a few smoked Negronis and other smoky cocktails, plus mulled w**e and mulled c***r.

We’re also busy making our own coffee liqueur with our beloved Caffè Vergnano, established in 1882, to bring even more flavour to our Espresso Martinis.

There’ll be homemade Italian soups and other warming dishes, alongside coffee and hot chocolate with a splash of something stronger if you fancy it!

This week, we’ve also got Theakston XB Ruby Ale, 4.5%, joining us as a guest b**r. Come and give it a try. 🍺

Dogs and children are always welcome, and our riverside garden is still open until 9pm for anyone happy to brave the cooler evenings.
