Prince William ❤️s pubs.

The future king has professed his love for the local during community engagements in South East London.

Visiting the Prince of Peckham pub, William poured pints and chatted with regulars.

Speaking at the venue, the prince admitted that he "could stay here forever" and that he loves pubs.

"I want to do as much as I can to support them because I love the community," he said.

"We need to protect our pubs."

These comments come during a difficult time for pubs in Britain where around two pubs closed each day in the first three months of 2026, according to industry figures.

The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) said 161 had shut their doors for good in that period, equating to about 2,400 job losses.

It blamed tax increases and rising labour costs, including the increase to the minimum wage.
