Just imagine if real Farmers (not those whom run factories or are inherited landowners) earned £28- £32K what you’d have to pay for your food! Maybe even,if you ate real food, we wouldn’t need such a health service?
32 grand……. Wow that would be nice but farmers don’t get anyway near that….. what makes us different? Long hours, yeap know that one, difficult working conditions, yeap, know that one too, no one appreciates you, yeap definitely understand that one, people need us……they certainly do , good pension, ergh, no, not sure about that, clean working environment, ergh, no , not got that, safe working environment…….. no never has been, good social life, ergh, no. We have a lonely, sometimes isolated existence … freedom of choice, not for many, protected during Covid - definitely not! No insurance covered any farms , certainly not the NFU, because ‘pandemic’ was not listed ( neither is attacks by aliens nor meteorite damage 🤷♂️ note to self, need to add those on my policy - any other things?)
If all Farmers can get a guaranteed £28K (£32K would be nicer 😊) then I’ll happily support the nurses strike. Simple - fairness across the board…..
