WE ARE RECRUITING.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
Duties will include:
• Assisting the Chef with food preparation and plating
• Full washing-up duties
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and tidy throughout service
• Cleaning down the kitchen at the end of each service
• Supporting the kitchen team to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential. Successful applicants will be required to undertake Food Allergy and Intolerance Training if they have not already completed it.

We are seeking a part time Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Half Moon Inn, every Saturday lunchtime and evening, additional shifts often available.

Responsibilities:
Washing Up: Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner, maintaining a constant supply of clean items for kitchen staff.
Cleaning and Tidying: Keep all kitchen areas and surfaces clean, sanitized, and organized. This includes floors, walls, and storage areas. Maintain a high level of cleanliness to meet hygiene standards.
Assisting with Food Preparation: Support the kitchen team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, peeling, and other tasks as directed by the chef.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Minimum age 17
Competitive salary
