Well, the weather looks set to be much like it was on DDay 82 years ago to the day! 🌧️☁️⛅️

The MET are forecasting a break in the rain from 1700hrs to allow us our evening at Ferry Point, but we might have to shelter in our pubs and cafes during the day, particularly at Eastoke and the West Town Inn where there is live entertainment! 🎙️🎶🎵

Well not sure what to say I closed the doors of The Ferryboat Inn today for the last time after eleven years. I would like to say Thank you firstly to my amazing team for all their hard work and support over the last eleven years, we have had lots of laughs and great times and today lots of tears. also to all the customers who we have got to know so well thank you for your loyal custom and support and most of all for the lovely comments, flowers and gifts, it has been very overwhelming and I really have got so many amazing memories and have made so many friends on Hayling island and am really going to miss everyone.

The pub is now closed. The staff are all in to help Edwina clear the pub out ready for the new owners to take over.

Today is our last day as Edwina as the manager 😢
Come down and say goodbye, the kitchen is only open till 6pm and we are on a limited menu.
It is a very sad day for us all.
We will miss her so much xx
