Due to the current climate we now ask for £5 deposit per person upon booking for guests of 6 or more. Rumour has it there is a hidden tunnel under our gardens that lead to a cave on Gwithian Beach. Perfect for our smugglers taking their booty to our pub, hidden from the exciseman! We have a resident Ghost who likes to play with your hair, tap you on the shoulder or back, so should you be tapped do

n't worry he is just saying hello! In 1753, a local Smuggler John Carter, nicknamed the King of Prussia Cove murdered an exciseman here during a raid and was then duly hung!
