That's a wrap!
My final post as your landlady of The Three Crowns
I would like to thank each and every one of you who became a part of our Crowns journey. You have all made us feel welcome right at the start and have continued do so to the close of the doors last night.
We have met so many wonderful and lovely people along the way. Some of you have become firm friends who made sure that we were fed when we were so busy that we didn't have time to make a sandwich, even going as far as taking a day off work to make us a roast dinner after we had complained that we hadn't had one for a few months. Many of you have helped us deal with little issues that have arisen, including making sure that we had heating through Christmas when a call out was impossible. Fitting a window at very short notice. To local businesses that have helped with gas or kegs when town has drank us dry and have ensured that we could continue to serve our customers. The Castle Hotel, Eddie Rocks, The Greyhound and Weatherspoons.
A huge thank you to our biggest and most loyal supporter Duncan Preston for spending every day (bar 2) with us. It will feel very strange not seeing you all the time.
No doubt though we will see a few of you in our next chapter as we continue with our friendships
I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to our staff, past and present...
Katie McShane, Cathrine Arnold, Andrea Thomas, Toni Jeffrey, Taylor Jeffrey, Laura Wonnacott, Ellie Fenn, and Myka, for all their hard work. Some have gone above and beyond which a lot of you have noticed and have given me feedback on. My staff have been amazing and without you I think my journey would have ended a lot sooner.
Thank you to our honorary staff members who have jumped on to pitch in when staff were overrun by the amazing amount of customers that decided to pile in to The Three Crowns all at once....
Simon Thomas, Tracey, Morgan Smith and Haley Marie John and all of you who have helped collect glasses and bring them to the bar.
I wish them all a wonderful new chapter and new employers will find that they are lucky to have them as part of their team.
Thank you Crowns Crew 🥳
Thank you Haverfordwest 🎉
