Again Ian which of the two ladies is your wife. Dont have same surname. Fencing put there by freeholder not us. Do you live locally, Most people like the fact their opinion matters to us. It was made plain by one lady that we should not even be asking for the local peoples opinion. Do you agree with that, because we feel they should have a say. Have you taken the time to find out exactly what our plans for the pub are, because it did not work being run the way it was previously, so perhaps we need to be a little more open minded.

CHASING THE DRINKS COMPANY TODAY TO GET THIS THING MOVING. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING BUT I KNOW ALL OUR FUTURE CUSTOMERS THAT MATTER ARE BEHIND US. WE WILL IGNORE THE HATERS. I GOT TOLD OFF FOR ASKING THE LOCALS FOR THEIR OPINIONS EARLIER AS I SHOULD HAVE MY OWN IDEAS BUT I HOPED WE WERE A BIT MORE IN THIS TOGETHER AND JUST WANTED YOU TO FEEL PART OF IT. SORRY IF I OFFENDED ANY ONE.

I am not going to hide anything as that is what we agreed not to do. The FREEHOLDERS have failed to apply for the premises licence as agreed during the last year. As the freeholder they would normally do this and then transfer or some times continue to hold it when a new lease is granted. When they were chased about it they have now come back and told us to do it our selves. We have spoken to Braintree and find it could take 28 days to formally agree but they are looking at ways of us opening under an events or temp licence. I think they believe this is the freeholder attempting to hamper the reopening. We will take this on the chin and move forward with the licence to get the pub open and let the solicitors fight it out over the issue. I didn't have to tell you all this but wanted to make you aware and to assure you we will battle on. The bar refit is going ahead and next week after the owners finally handed over the keys fully yesterday after stalling for almost 2 months.

We will be visiting the pub tomorrow and then should have an idea of what day the bar fitting will start. As soon as we do I will let you all know.

I know there is a bit of time yet but who do I speak to or is any one a member of a good choir so we can arrange a carol concert out side the pub for Christmas. If we dont book it soon we may miss out.
