We served a variety of dishes from Thai curries & Chinese dishes to the traditional British favourites steak, Guinness and mushroom pie & Fish, chips and mushy peas. Everything is made fresh daily on site and comes with either chunky home made chips or baby new potatoes & Salad or Vegetables. We are a family run business and we strive to provide a family friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We have held The Spotted Cow since July 2012 Since then Business has soared as word of mouth travelled. Our Sunday lunch is always a sell out with big portions of either Roast Topside of Beef, Leg of Pork, Leg of Lamb or Chicken Breast served with a delicious meaty gravy, Carrots, Cauliflower, Swede and Cabbage. Accompanied with Roasties & Mash and huge home-made Yorkshire puddings.

We've got something a little different for the kids this Christmas at The Spotted Cow!

Join us for a fun, festive, hands-on workshop where the little ones can get creative and make their very own Christmas bath bombs! 😍

📅 Tuesday 1st December 🕕 6pm 📍 The Spotted Cow, Elwick 💷 £20 per child

Each child will get to make 4 Christmas-themed bath bombs to take home and enjoy, or maybe even give as little handmade Christmas presents! 🎁

Suitable for ages 3 and over, with everything they need provided and plenty of help along the way.

We've only got 20 spaces available, so booking is essential!

Full payment secures your place, and please let us know about any allergies when booking.

🎅🐾 SANTA PAWS 2026 – CALLING ALL DOGGY BUSINESSES! 🐾🎄

After holding our very first Santa Paws last Christmas, we've decided to bring it back for 2026... and this year we're going BIGGER & BETTER! 😍

We've taken what we learned from last year's event, looked at what we could improve and decided that this year we're having an ENTIRE SPOTTED COW TAKEOVER! 🐶🎄

So now we're on the hunt for some fabulous doggy businesses who'd like to come along and be part of it!

🐾 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We'd love to have a really good variety of businesses offering things like:

🐶 Dog treats, chews & natural goodies

🦴 Toys, enrichment products & accessories

🐕 Collars, leads, harnesses & coats

🛏️ Beds, blankets & doggy home comforts

🎁 Personalised gifts & Christmas goodies

🐾 Pet photography, artwork & keepsakes

And anything else our four-legged friends (or their humans!) might love!

BUT... you don't have to sell physical products to get involved!

We'd also LOVE to hear from dog walkers, pet sitters, groomers, doggy daycare providers, trainers and anyone else offering dog-related services!

This is a brilliant opportunity to showcase your business, meet potential new customers, make connections with other local businesses and generally get your name out there!

Whether you're a brand-new little business finding your feet or you've been established for years, we'd love to hear from you! ❤️

❤️ ALL WHILE SUPPORTING A FANTASTIC CAUSE!

Just like last year, we'll be fundraising for Street Paws, a wonderful charity helping homeless people and their much-loved pets.

🐾 50% of all fee proceeds will be donated to Street Paws.

🐾 100% of our fundraising raffle proceeds will also go directly to Street Paws!

We'll also be asking our lovely stallholders to kindly donate a prize towards the raffle to help us raise as much as possible.

We're hoping to fill the entire pub with a fantastic mix of doggy businesses, create a lovely festive atmosphere and raise plenty of money for a charity that does some really wonderful work!

We're particularly keen to have a good variety rather than lots of stalls selling the same things, so please don't be shy about getting in touch!

🔮✨ FANCY SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT? ✨🔮

We've still got tickets available for our Evening of Mediumship with the lovely Francesca Scarr on Sunday 1st November! 💜

And we're making a whole evening of it!

From 6pm you can come along, grab a drink and have a browse around our lovely selection of traditional & spiritual stalls, with Angel Card Readings from Evie Taylor also available on the night. ✨

Then at 7:30pm we'll be taking our seats for an evening of mediumship with Francesca, with a little break in between demonstrations.

The main event finishes around 9pm, but the stalls and Francesca will be staying until 10pm, so there's plenty of time for a chat and another browse!
