The daily changing menus reflect our customer profile in delivering quality food & service in a cosy, quintessentially English public house. Our food service times are from 12.00 noon until 2.30pm & from 7.00pm to 9.15pm daily (9.30pm, Friday & Saturday evenings)

You won’t need to be a rock star to enjoy our newest pint — but it might make you feel like one.

Meet Kicking Donkey, our latest ale at The Hatch. 🫏

It’s a deliciously characterful ale made for relaxed afternoons, hearty pub food and catching up with friends.

Produced by rock legend Roger Daltrey of Lakedown Brewing Co, this is the first of many Lakedown ales to be joining the Hatch this autumn. 🎸

Stay tuned for English Pale coming up shortly.

After achieving rock stardom with The Who, Roger’s now reaching celebrity status once again for his family owned brewery, producing delicious local, easy drinking session ales using spring water from the Lakedown farm. 🍺

They don’t SUBSTITUTE for anything less than the highest quality malt and hops.

And of course, we’ll still be serving the harvey’s we all love.

The position can be full or part time, possibly job share, and can be adapted to fit round school run hours.

Recent summer favourites at The Hatch!☀️ 1. Crispy breaded aubergine, katsu curry sauce, mint and coriander yogurt, cucumber and onion salad.

2. Burrata, heritage tomatoes, spiced tomato gazpacho, basil, sun-dried tomato pesto, balsamic glaze.

3. Goats cheese and onion puff pastry tartlet served with asparagus, roasted vine tomatoes and balsamic glaze.
