To all our friends,

Sorry for being quiet so long. We have looked at a number of venues but nothing has worked out I’m afraid.

We’ve mentioned before that John Mann who used to run the club before Paul has been operating under Redchurch Comedy and know some of you have been to see their excellent shows!

As we have made the hard decision to officially stop looking for a venue ourselves we have decided to hand the name Harlow Comedy Club back to John’s very capable hands. It was always John’s baby first and we are very privileged to have looked after it for him for a number of years.

A belated thank you to everyone who came along to our final show at the Rugby Club, and those that couldn’t make it and sent messages. Thank you to everyone who’s joined us at shows over the years, the support from all of you is wonderful! And thank you of course to our amazing acts.

We have a few leads on potential new venues, which we will be looking at in the New Year, so do keep an eye on here and your email inboxes for any news next year.

In the meantime, we wish you all a safe and joyful festive season! From Paul, Gemma, Coco, Krunch and Kevin the new arrival!

Quick update for tonight: Sadly Dan Evans has had to drop out, but we're delighted to announce that instead we will have the wonderful Michael Fabbri returning! We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful show last night!

As you will have heard if you were at the show or are on our mailing list - sadly next month will be our last show at the Rugby Club, so you have one final chance to see us there.

Tickets will go on general sale next week when the Facebook event goes live, or if you’re on our mailing list you have a secret link to buy now.

We are keeping an eye out for a new venue, and will of course update you here if that comes about, but we don't know if or when this will happen.

So for now we hope as many of you as possible will be able to join us next month to make it an extra special show.

*Announcement and reminder*

Good evening all, unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances (not Covid), I (Paul) am no longer able to MC tomorrow. Stepping into my shoes for the night will be the wonderful Tim Clark. I have asked him to take very good care of you all!

Also, just as a reminder, the Rugby Club are not currently able to do food, so please eat before you get to us, we want you hungry for comedy, not food!

Two quick updates.

Firstly, e-mail subscribers should be receiving their e-mails shortly, with a link to book September tickets from tomorrow. The rest of you will be able to book from Sunday at 7pm.

Secondly, our October date has now had to move by a week, so it's now 29th October, in case anyone wanted to update their diaries :-).

*Update*

Some good news!

We can now confirm that, as long as things stay as they are, our first show back will be 24th Sept.

This will be followed by 29th Oct and 26th Nov. Then from January 2022 we will be on the third Friday of every month if you wish to be prepared!

Line up’s and tickets will follow a little nearer the time, with first availability being released to mailing list subscribers (the button to sign up is above if you aren’t already). To those of you who still have tickets from last year you will receive an email to have first choice of these dates before tickets go on sale to anyone else.

Depending on case numbers nearer the time we will consider carefully what precautions we will advise/ have in place.

For now stay well and safe, and we look forward to (hopefully!) seeing you all on 24th Sept!

Hi all,

We hope you're all keeping well, sorry for the silence. We haven't had much to update you on in light of the ongoing global madness.

We can though confirm that we will be returning in September, hopefully at full capacity (just like the good old days).

We'll send out further details in due course.

*Update*

As you may well have suspected after yesterday’s announcement we have now made the decision to not do shows in December or January. We will be reassessing the situation in the new year to make decisions on shows from Feb onwards.

We can’t wait to see you all again, please stay safe and well, and try to find those moments of happiness.

To those of you who still have tickets on hold to be used when we start again, this is just a reminder that you can contact us at any point for a refund instead, we understand that times are tough right now.
