The Square has been the soul of Harlow for 35+ years and played host to some of the biggest names in Rock, Pop, Jazz and Comedy as well as being a home for hundreds of local bands. Local successes include Collapsed Lung, The Subways, Newtown Neurotics, Morning Parade, George Ezra, Steve Lamacq (BBC DJ who formed a record labe

l in the downstairs bar), Paul Epworth (Grammy winning Bond theme writing producer who used to work in the Square's studio), and big names who have hit the stage include Coldplay, Biffy Clyro, Muse, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs (as Parva), Blur (as Seymour), Eddie Izzard, Jack Dee and lots more.
