With only FOUR morning team slots left, we’d encourage anyone thinking of entering to get signed up as soon as possible before they’re gone!

We’re also delighted to announce that local favourites 🎶 Z List 🎶 will be providing the evening’s entertainment - playing all your favourite covers and helping us round off what promises to be a brilliant day both on and off the course.

Every penny raised will support Brain Tumour Focus and the campaign to help fund the UK’s first portable MRI scanner - an incredible cause.

Fantastic milestone for the junior section at Lightcliffe Golf Club ⛳️

After more than 8 years, the club proudly fielded a team in the Halifax & Huddersfield Union Junior League once again this week. A tough away fixture against Huddersfield Golf Club ended in a 4-2 defeat, but the result doesn’t take away from what a brilliant achievement this is for the club and its future.

A huge thank you to Will, Alexia and Daniel for representing the club so well, and to everyone whose hard work behind the scenes has made this possible. Here’s to building something special for junior golf at Lightcliffe 👏🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Golf is in full swing for us now!

Friday 8th May saw a gathering of Past Lady Captains at Lightcliffe GC.

Ten ladies played a 9 hole competition and were joined for lunch by many more ex Captains.

The winner was Gill Shirlaw and was presented with the trophy by the oldest Captain present Jill Mitchell.

The Halifax and District Past Captains Association held their mixed competition at Lightcliffe GC followed by a meal in the clubhouse.

The winners of the three person shoot competition were Sue Smallburn, David Downsborough and Craig McMinn with 74 points.

They were Past Captains of Lightcliffe, Halifax Bradley Hall, Halifax Golf Club and Halifax West End Golf Club respectively.

🏆 Millennium Trophy Match Report 🏆

A fantastic day of competition as 12 pairs from Lightcliffe Golf Club battled through the rain in this year’s Millennium Trophy clash against Crow Nest Golf Club. 🌧️⛳

Despite the challenging conditions, both teams showed great spirit.

Congratulations to Lightcliffe Golf Club on a superb victory, finishing with 435 points to 404! 👏

A brilliant effort from everyone involved—already looking forward to next year’s contest hopefully the weather is a little better.

The annual pre season warm up match between the A and B team which also involved some new members was played yesterday.

Played in brilliant warm sunshine, the fun 9 hole competition was followed by a lunch in the clubhouse.
