The Navigation Inn
The Navigation Inn dates back to the 15thC and was the site of the local Moot Hall. Some of the period features still remain in place today with a magnificent 16th C Fireplace being the focus of one of the main dining areas.
The pub retains the feel of a traditional bar, offering real ales - Cask Marque award, lagers and a great selection of wine and spirits. The dining ranges from a traditional favourites menu to the Something Special selection, Sandwiches are available during lunchtimes. The Sunday lunch service is extremely popular. The Pub sits in the quiet outskirts of the town of Sowerby Bridge with views to the surrounding hills and the banks of the Hebble and Calder Canal. The tow path runs to the side of the pub and there is a mooring for boats 1 minute away. The outside of Pub includes a South facing Beer Garden with seating and grassed areas to the rear. There is a modern, covered smoking area and a large private car park for easy access. All food is home cooked from fresh with a wide range of menus available at all times. Allergies can be catered for. Parties and buffets are catered for with care and pride.
