Our next Jive Rock at Siddal is this Friday 25th September⭐️

Let's make it another great night 💃🕺

Remember folks the music has changed here. Jive Rock Siddal Fridays are upbeat playing Rock n Roll, danceable Rockabilly and Doowop both original and new artists. New songs eased in to find those floor fillers.

Come and join us at Jive Rock for a great night of Rock n Roll and 50s Jive ⭐️ 😀💃🕺

Doors open from 7pm starting with some ballroom to vintage sounds till around 7.30. Then the upbeat sounds commence for Rock n Roll and 50's Jive to kick the night off. Plenty of new cool songs to keep it all fresh 💃🕺

Throughout the night we do a number of different strolls where you don't need a partner and a bopping section for a lone freestyle dance to do your own thing.

Hi folks

We have just cancelled the Oakes Vintage Dance for this Saturday 12th September.

All our regulars at the Oakes Vintage Dance are still very busy with summer holidays, family and trips away.

So we best cancel this date and meet back up in November in the winter months, when you will all be itching to get out for a dance 💃🕺

💃🕺 Our next Oakes Vintage Dance will be on 28th November 💃🕺

Please message me if you would like tickets for the November Oakes Vintage Dance. The room set up is very hard here so we need to start ticketing this event so we know the numbers. 🙂

⭐ Our next Tea Dance event is this Sunday 6th September in Outlane Methodist Church - 2 til 5pm ⭐

The music will be upbeat, mixing from 40s and 50s. A great mix of songs and tempo for a variety of dances. 💃🕺

Come along, see what its all about and give it a go.

Refreshments, hot drinks and cakes will be available to purchase 🍟🍕☕

Hi Folks

💃🕺 Vintage Dance on Saturday 12th September 💃🕺

This September dance will be a mix of the same lively, upbeat feel as our Sunday Tea Dances AND the Brighouse 1940s dance we ran in June.

💃🕺 Plenty of vintage social dances and strolls, Jump, Jive, Swing and Ballroom to upbeat sounds from the late 30s to Mid 50s 💃🕺

Please let me know if you are planning to come to ensure we have enough folk to book the room. We know our client base here so need to see if your available, as this room is the hardest to set up.

The Oakes venue is a stunning room with a lovely big dance floor, perfect for a variety of dances.

Drinks - The function room is in a church with no bar and no licence for alcohol. So please can you bring your non alcoholic drinks. Water will be supplied.

7.30pm till 10.30pm
£8 pay on door

Parking - There is plenty of parking. On-site for around 15 cars at the back of the church and across the road we have use of another car park for 15 cars. There is also street parking on 2 adjacent streets.

Please see the map which outlines where the parking is.

The entrance to the building will be at the front of the church. Look to the right hand side of the church and take the ramp to the BLUE DOOR. Once you are in the building the dance hall is on the second floor. You can either take the stairs to the left side or walk straight ahead to access the lift.
