The hill and Cakemore Liberal Club has a large function room (ball-room) with a capacity of approx. 200 people, this room can be closed off with folding doors for a "surprise" party and also comprises of a bar area that is well stocked with popular, on tap, beers such as carling, carling dark fruits cider, Sam smiths Dark mild, Sam Smiths Sovereign, Wye Valley Fandango, Wye Valley Stout, Wye Valle
y 1985 and other popular brands. We also stock a large selection of popular bottled beers and ciders, spirits, shots and malt whiskeys as well as wine by the glass or by the bottle at very reasonable rates. This room is for hire for many family functions and can be booked during opening times on site with a deposit of £50.00 for evening functions (or £30.00 for children's parties on weekend lunchtimes only) at which point a form with terms and conditions must also be signed, the balance of £100.00 (for a party from 7pm-midnight- additional times are charged at £20.00 per hour subject to availability) is then payable 21 days prior to the function. Deposits are NOT refunded on the same date as the party, they can be collected 24 hours later, as long as the party goes ahead and there is no breach of contract. The room has a high ceiling so is easily capable of holding bouncy castles for children's parties. We also hire the room out for charitable events. The club also has 2 other smaller members rooms, one a lounge and the other a snooker, games and family room - these are MEMBERS only unless state otherwise.
