A heartfelt thank you.. a gift to the Waggon & Horses ❤️.
Sometimes the true spirit of a pub community shines so brightly, it leaves us completely speechless. Today is one of those days.
We want to extend our deepest, most sincere gratitude to one of our loyal regulars Dave. Dave has presented us with an extraordinary lifesaving gift for the Waggon & Horses a brand new AED defibrillator.
We as a team, can not thank you enough Dave, from the bottom of our hearts, this selfless gesture means more to our team and community than words can ever express.
This gift comes from a place of profound love and remembrance. Dave recently lost three friends to cardiac arrest. Dave Smith, Tony McInerny and Jim Clarke. Loosing mates like that leaves a heavy mark on all who know them. But Dave chose to turn that loss into a legacy that would save someone else's life. Having this life-saving equipment at the pub is a massive honour to their memory. Every single day it rests here, it stands as a lasting tribute to Dave, Tony & Jim.
When cardiac emergencies happen, every single second counts, having a defibrillator on site means that our pub family, regulars and neighbours, has access to a critical equipment if the unthinkable happens. It is a genuine gift of life. The defibrillator will be situated inside the pub.
Please, next time you are in the pub, please join us in raising a glass to Dave for his remarkable generosity and to the fond memories of her dear friends.
Thankyou Dave. You are an absolute legend and we are deeply proud to have you as a part of the Waggon & Horses family. ❤️
