As you may be aware, the club has called a Special General Meeting (SGM) on 7th July to invite suitable candidates to join the committee and help run the club effectively on behalf of its members.

Serving on the committee is both an honour and a privilege. Unfortunately, a small minority have chosen to make a mockery of this process by spreading false rumours around the club and attempting to recruit people to pursue personal vendettas, rather than focusing on what truly matters — the club and its members.

This behaviour will not be tolerated.

As a result, a new nomination form will need to be issued, as candidate names have been removed and altered, with proposers and seconders being changed using correction fluid.

Please remember that the priority must always be the smooth running of the club for the benefit of its members, their families, and guests — not the pursuit of unnecessary personal agendas.

If that is not your intention, then you are free to leave the club.

I am more than happy to speak with anyone who genuinely wishes to understand what is happening.
