Inn on the park

A little update for Monday 4th May. Our pride day will start with the usual parade around the park, charity boxes will be available for local charities at 12pm. The theme is Spanish so we will be providing tapas and sangria etc. From 5pm we have the lovely Sharon's music providing entertainment . We will have some games and silliness in between and just remember, be proud to be you🌈

A little late notice, on may bank holiday Monday 4th ( Star wars day!) We're having Deanland pride day. This used to be charity day, we will still collect for charities, however we think it's a good excuse for a party! There will be the usual parade, food and merriment. We're going Spanish if you'd like to join in so Tapas and Paella etc involved. The main theme is pride is in who you are and where you live, not specifically sexuality, colour or belief, just who you are. We are all important.

Finally got round to updating the what's on board! Please note tickets for the ABBA tribute are now on sale from the bar, this is a ticket only event and price includes a Buffet dinner. Doors open from 6.30pm.

Just a gentle reminder to all, this evening is a ticket only event, no entry to anyone without one, not even just for a drink, we have to do this to stick to our capacity for fire regulations and to make it comfortable for our guests. That being said if anyone has missed out, we do have a couple of last minute tickets available, please call or pop in the pub to secure those. Doors open at 6pm and food will be served between 6.30 and 8.30 so no need to rush! Thankyou for your understanding and to one and all a very happy healthy new year -x-

Wow, where has the time gone? 3 years ago today we opened to a very welcoming crowd. I had no idea what to expect, all I knew was that Deanland was home. Three years down the line and it still is home and the support from the community is still here and much appreciated. So here's to a few more years and a big cheers to you all🥂❤️

These flyers will be going to all homes in the next day or two, anyone who wishes to join in and volunteer is welcome, we will meet in the Inn at 10 o clock. Obviously as a volunteer service not everyone is expected to do every month, only as much or as little as you would like. There is also a WhatsApp group for volunteers so we know what we're doing (hopefully🤣) Thanks.

Afternoon all, just throwing out an idea to you all. It's becoming more and more apparent that there are some of our neighbours that may need a hand keeping their gardens/outside spaces how they'd like them. I was wondering if there would be any interest in a volunteer group meeting the first Monday of the month, I will provide refreshments (cold/hot drinks, light lunch etc) . I have liased with park management and they are happy for us to form such a group. Obviously we would need the consent/request of the residents we are looking to help. We have such a wonderful little community here and if we can help a fellow neighbour in need, then why not (also it's a nice way to get some fresh air and exercise). Please do let me know if anyone would be interested, thanks.
