It's Thursday night, so we should have been kicking off the GT Live Sessions at The King's Head, Guildford right now. But we're not. For obvious reasons. So I thought I'd have a rummage through the archive tapes, and put a little half-hour film together of six of the best. Considering town was as quiet as it was last night we still managed to have a great evening of live music, and my thanks to everyone who came out to The King's Head, Guildford to support the session. Extra thanks to all of our special guests: Sam Handy, Lilianne, Owen Paul (with Lynne Johnstone & Howard Johnstone), Hannah Turner Music (with Glen Vaal), Slack Maverick, Eva Perrin Fontana (with Lara Collinge & Josh Hawkins), and Zach Johnson.

Thanks to Amelia and the King's Head crew for keeping us fed and watered, and to the mighty Charlie Cooper for being on camera duty. We'll be back on King's Road next Thursday 19th March for another GT Open Mic Session at The King's Head, with performances from: Morgan Gooch, Phil Coleman Music, Sascha Osborn, Joe Carabine, Louise Coles Music, and Life Like Charlie. Despite a miserable night of weather, I'm very glad to report that we had a gorgeous warm and cuddly evening of music at The King's Head last night. My thanks to everyone for coming down and making up such a lovely supportive audience. Hats off to all of our amazing special guests: Alex Middleton, Victoria Ward, Soph & Cam, Eszter Mics Music & nora anna, Cardboard Carousel, and Rebecca Jayne. Some truly sublime performances. Ah, what a lovely night!
A perfectly eclectic set of performances, and a wonderful supportive audience at this week's GT Open Mic Session at The King's Head. Huge thanks to all of our special guests - Anna Renae, Anouska Assisi, Paul Alexander Low, Beth Keeping, Harrowman, Meg Barwell, and Sour Kix.
