Last open mic before Xmas at The Front Room, Surrey Uni. Before I started this night, this time round, I didn’t know what to expect. But it hasn’t changed - the students and guests are still the most awesome, friendly and welcoming crowd you could ever hope to encounter. Yes, numbers are low, at the moment… but the venue has some catching up to do, with people realizing the night (and venue) exists.
Thank you for being such a lovely group of people… Fingers crossed for 2026 - have a great Xmas and New Year… watch this space for updates when the night starts up - could be as early as 8th Jan 🤞 🙏🎄🎉🥳😊

I’ve been amazed at how popular Radiohead is with the students at Surrey Uni Open Mic night… so I thought I’d pull this one back out. It’s a cover of the Jamie Cullum arrangement… would be nice with piano I guess!!! Gotta love those old Radiohead albums….
