Morning guys

Unfortunately were having card machine problems ( yes again..and i promise were as irritated by this as you guys)

We do still have one working card terminal, but having just this one throughout both the bar and restaurant service will be slightly slower.so we do advise bringing cash where possible please 🙏

We really thankyou for your support and we are working to get this fixed as quickly as possible

🍺❤️ EIGHT YEARS CLOSED. NOW BACK AT THE HEART OF LACEBY! 🇬🇧

THE NAGS HEAD – A THANK YOU TO OUR VILLAGE.

After approximately eight years with its doors closed, we took a gamble and brought The Nags Head back to life.

We knew it wouldn’t be easy. But following this week’s Autumn Budget, the challenges facing independent pubs are clearer than ever.

🍺 Rising b**r and supplier costs.

💷 A further 3.9% minimum wage increase coming in April 2027. Our staff deserve a fair wage, absolutely, but those costs have to come from somewhere.

❌ VAT remains at 20%, with no reduction for hospitality.

🏠 Some welcome business rates relief, but energy bills, staffing and running costs remain a huge challenge.

WE RUN A VILLAGE PUB, NOT A BLOODY MONEY-PRINTING MACHINE!

But here’s the important bit…

❤️ THE PEOPLE OF LACEBY HAVE RESTORED OUR FAITH IN THE GREAT BRITISH PUB!

When we reopened, we didn’t know whether the village would embrace having its pub back.

YOU HAVE, AND THEN SOME!

Every pint, every meal, every Sunday roast, every quiz night and every friendly face has made us believe that bringing The Nags Head back was absolutely the right decision.

We’re not a faceless corporate chain. We’re a local business investing in your village, providing jobs and bringing people together.

We’re still learning, still improving and we’ll occasionally get things wrong. But one thing will never change…
