A hard core six were sent last night to the Golfers Arms. Darting heavy weights the two Daves, Captain Faye and her Mother Lauren and the bemusing darting pseudo intelligence of Sweep & Johnny. Victory was accomplished 6 5! They all dug deep and contributed to the win. What was particularly pleasing was they were 2 0 down and then 3 2 down but went on to win with one to play. This hard core six showed a lot of guts and commitment, well done all of you. Next week a free week, however watch this space as the Rearranged game against the Windmill might be arranged. Oh, and by the way Johnny this week had his first competitive singles win so well done to him.

The wrong end of a hard fought night 6 5 at home to the Green Bear. Faye and her team battled valiently however it was clear we were a bit game rusty. Two nil up and 5 3 up with 3 to play, however defeat in the end. Good to see a good squad turnout, best player on the night for me was Jess. A good night though and all who returned are keen to put things right next week away at the Golfers Arms.

This Tuesday we have our first home game of the season against the Green Bear. Some of our players will be back this week so hopefully a stronger squad will pay dividends?

We have the welcome return of Winter Tuesday league darts. Our first week sees an away encounter at the Windmill. A few players missing in our season opener, so let's see what happens. Support Captain Faye and her team and let's hope for a good season.

Our darting banana 🍌 this week was Dave. Dave invariably leaves early on a Banana night so misses out on the presentations. Suffice to say he was long over due winning one. Well done Dave 👏
