We’re serving food from 12pm right through until 8pm today, with our full menu available all day.

Whether you’re joining us for lunch, popping in for dinner or just fancy a pint, we’re here as usual.

We’re serving food from 12pm right through until 8pm today, with the full menu available all day.

Our cask ales are just £2.70 a pint all day.

Then this evening it’s Steak Night — order a steak or mixed grill and we’ll throw in a pint on us.

Not a bad way to start the week.

Sunday lunch at The Royal Oak 🍽️

If you haven’t made plans for lunch yet, we still have some availability for today.

We’re serving roast beef, turkey and pork today, with all the usual Sunday trimmings.

Sunday lunch is served from 12pm–3pm.

Online bookings are now closed for today, so if you’d like us to save you a table, give us a call this morning and we’ll get you booked in.

Walk-ins are always welcome too — if we can find you a table, we will.

If cooking Sunday dinner yourself is starting to sound like more trouble than it’s worth, we can take care of it for you. 😁

Proper Sunday lunch, cooked here at The Oak — roast meats, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, fresh vegetables and plenty of gravy.

We still have some tables available for tomorrow, so get yourselves booked in and leave the cooking and washing up to us.

Saturday at the Oak 🍻

Fancy some proper pub food today?

We’re serving from 12pm right through until 8pm, with the full menu available all day — including our freshly battered fish, proper hand-cut chips and plenty more besides.

Then tonight things are a little bit different at the Oak.

Dave & Barb are back doing their thing, but tonight we’re also helping one of our customers celebrate a fantastic 85th birthday 🎉

That means the music is already picked for the evening rather than our usual all-request format, but the pub is still open to everyone as normal. Come down, grab a drink and join us for what should be a cracking Saturday night.

And because it’s Saturday, our usual weekend offers are running too:

20% off food from 6–8pm
20% off drinks from 7–11pm

Friday at the Royal Oak 🍻

If you’re heading out for something to eat or a few drinks tonight, Friday gives you a pretty good reason to make it the Oak.

We’re serving food right through until 8pm, with 20% off your food bill between 6pm and 8pm.

Then from 7pm until 11pm, it’s 20% off drinks across the bar too.

Proper homemade pub food, a few drinks afterwards, and for a good chunk of the evening we’re knocking a fifth off the bill.

Not a bad way to spend a Friday.

What a night!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Meet the Butcher evening last night, and of course to Dave from E&S Mears for coming along and bringing quite a selection with him.

Alongside all our usual steaks, Dave brought fillet, tomahawk, T-bone and porterhouse steaks for everyone to choose from — then it was over to us to get them cooked and onto the plates.

It was great to see so many people interested in the different cuts, chatting with Dave and, most importantly, enjoying some seriously good steak.

Thanks again to Dave and everyone who came along and made the evening such a success.

We might just have to do this one again… 🥩

We’ve got another busy day ahead, starting with Lunch Club from 12pm today.

Then this evening it’s Meet the Butcher at The Oak! 🥩

We’ve had a couple of last-minute cancellations, which means we now have a table available at 5pm and another at 7:30pm for anyone who missed out and would like to join us.

For the first time in the Royal Oak league, we’ve got a three-way tie for our Gameweek prize!
