Hi all, hope you’re all well. Just a quick update regarding Bonfire night.
Unfortunately this year we will not be hosting our firework display on the 5th November.
Sorry to anyone who had planned attending.

Thank you so much to all involved at Great Harwood’s Commercial hotel, for raising a fantastic £2,169.76 for us through charity fun days in June and July! ❤🙌

Pub landlord Jim Beardsworth, his wife Bridget and regulars Terry and Pat Davies and Maureen Smith organised a barbecue, entertainment, disco, raffle and tombola for each event.

Jim and Bridget made the donation in tribute to their son Jason, who they lost to cancer two years ago when he was aged just 49-years-old. They began supporting us back in 2018 when Jason was first diagnosed, and since then (including this current donation) they and their customers have raised a wonderful £4,030.87 for us in support of local cancer care 🙏
