Hi All,

Gravesend Pool Lounge is closed for table hire, due to a private function today until early evening. Even then, we still won’t be able to guarantee table availability , so it is worth calling the Lounge before hand.

However, we are still open for drinks and will be showing the football today!⚽️

GPL Series 2026 – Event 2
9th May 2026

Event 2 of the GPL Series 2026 brought another competitive day of pool, with 29 runners battling it out for the title in a strong field packed with quality players.

After a day full of close matches and high-level performances, the semi-final line-up was:

• Ricky Cooper v Adam Bassoo
• Jasper Simmons v Ian Ali

Adam Bassoo and Ian Ali both produced excellent displays to progress through to the final, setting up a deserved showdown for the Event 2 crown.

In the final, Ian Ali delivered a composed and clinical performance to overcome Adam Bassoo with a 9-6 victory, securing the GPL Series 2026 Event 2 title.

Congratulations to Ian Ali on the win, and well played to all competitors who took part in another great evening at Gravesend Pool Lounge.

What a competition we had at the lounge yesterday for the bank holiday!

We did a round robin format, consisting of 42 players in to 8 groups. 16 players progressed to the knockout stages, while the rest entered a flyer.
Well done to Dan Pritchard for taking that down.

There was quality throughout the knockouts. Charley McDowell beat Ian Ali in a decider, while Jake Lloyd came through another close match against Carl Jones.

On to the final. 2 class players, Charley McDowell and Jake Lloyd, with Jake edging it in the decider, well done Jake!

Thanks to everyone who took part and your continued support.

Shout out to our staff, Jane and Leah for the day, and everyone else who helped out!
