Behind the scenes at WH Pubs… meet our Development Kitchen
The creative heart of WH Pubs, our Development Kitchen helps bring quality, consistency and fresh ideas across all five of our pubs.
From indulgent desserts like Sticky Toffee Pudding, our rich Double Chocolate Brownie, and gluten-free Baked Cheesecake, to savoury favourites including handmade shortcrust pastry pies, popular Salmon Fishcakes, and comforting traditional stews in the colder months.
We also make the most of the large American smoker at The Little Brown Jug, used to create delicious smoked dishes such as chicken, beef brisket, pork ribs and even the occasional hot-smoked salmon side.
Tony, our Head Chef in the Development Kitchen, has been part of the WH family since 2016 and plays a key role in bringing these dishes to life.
