Think Before We Lose Our Pub neighbours!

We know that pubs can sometimes attract complaints — noise, customers, parking and the general hustle and bustle that comes with running a busy local pub. But we really want to ask everyone to think about the bigger picture
The Prince of Orange is a historic local pub, and we want to keep it exactly that — a pub at the heart of our community, bringing people together, supporting local jobs, hosting events and giving people somewhere to meet, eat and enjoy themselves.

We have already had interest in the building being converted into a migrant hotel. We absolutely do not want that to happen. But the reality is simple: if we cannot pay the bills and keep the pub financially viable, we may have very little choice about what happens to the building in the future.

So before complaining about the pub, please think about the consequences.
Once a local pub is gone, it may be gone for good. 🍻

We want to work with our neighbours and our community, not against them. We ask for a little understanding, support and common sense so that we can continue to keep the doors of this historic pub open.

Please support your local pub — because you never know what could replace it.
