This pub stands on the site of former Charing Cross and West Parish Church, in the centre of Grangemouth. Built in 1883/4 by the Free Church of Scotland, the church was originally named the Zetland Free Church, after its patron, The Earl of Zetland. We are in the Good Beer Guide 2015 and are also Cask Marque accredited for our real ale. Winner of a Gold Best Bar None award for 2012 and 2013.

It's a sad day, today we have been informed that the Earl of zetland will be closing its doors for the last time and not reopening back, due to the maintenance issues and high costs the pub is just not feasible to run.

We are very upset, it is the end of an era 😢

And this place will be missed 😢

And we would just like to thanks the staff for there service and customers for there continued support.
