I have over 15 years of experience as a trained chef as well as front of house experience culminating in a degree in Ecotourism in 2006 and I’m extremely excited at the prospect of exploring new culinary frontiers. Good grub doesn’t necessarily need to be served by a waiter in a fancy restaurant! Our goal is to provide both a superior customer experience and tremendous value for our customers; not

to mention putting a smile on your face!! Food needs to be yummy, fun and shared, so that’s what we plan to do. Over the coming years, we will expand the boundaries and perceptions of ‘the humble burger van’, serving Gastro food where we can, but ultimately, providing a unique, bespoke service to our customers, our friends. As well as my humble weekly pitch, GastroGrilla is available for events, festivals, corporate days and special occasions.

My beautiful 14 yo daughter Orla is looking for a job. She has experience of working with customers when she worked with us at Kelburn Garden Party and Solfest as well as when I was at the pitch. She's comfortable with high volumes, cash handling and has excellent customer engagement skills. She's polite, well mannered, isn't permanently attached to her mobile phone and has a bubbly vivacious personality. (Chip off the auld block!!)

Ideally somewhere local to us in Stirling.

This is it.......
That last HURRAH. Tonight is our last night in the pub for GastroGrilla

We've got an almost full menu but we're running low on brisket so once it goes, it goes.

Please be patient. We'll keep on top of the ordering platforms but PLEASE use the GastroGrilla app available online. OR POP IN AND PAY CASH PREFERABLE.

Yesterday was sad but happy. It was lovely to see so many of my long term regular customers. We've certainly been on a journey together.

Tonight is not the end of the story. It's the beginning of another chapter.

💥❤️🥺 I've decided to hang up my tongs for the last time. And this time there'll be no phoenix rising from the ashes. This weekend will be our last HURRAH! GastroGrilla is 86 one last time. (it's an old Hard Rock in-joke)

I've been struggling for a while to make GastroGrilla profitable and my lack of business acumen hasn't helped. Health, both mental and physical, have taken a bit of a hammering recently and some of the s**t I've had to deal with these past months has really challenged me. And I'm getting too auld for it all.

Many of you will know that this hasn't been an easy decision but I'm missing spending time with my wonderful wife and daughter as well as our 2 girls Ushkha & Luna.

Many of you I consider dear friends with some of you putting up with me since 2016! Sooooo many memories. Some quality food. And laughter EVERY day. I will truly miss every one of you. 😳🥺

So this weekend is going to be our last. We've got enough stock to get us through the weekend then it'll goodbye from me. And goodbye from GastroGrilla .

Thank you for being so loyal and thanks for the memories. I wish you all the very best. 🦍❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😔
