🎶 A WEE SCOTTISH & IRISH TRAD SESSION – TOMORROW NIGHT! 🎶

Hi everyone!

Just a wee reminder that our first trial Scottish and Irish trad session is happening tomorrow, Wednesday 4th November, at Cleats Bar, Gourock! 🎻

I’ll be there with my fiddle from 8pm until around 10pm/10.30pm (or until we get too tired! 😂).

Sessions aren’t performances or gigs. They’re relaxed, friendly gatherings where musicians come together to share tunes, songs and enjoy making music.

All abilities and experience levels are welcome! 🎶

Fiddles, guitars, whistles, flutes, bodhráns, mandolins, chanters, Irish pipes, singers – all acoustic instruments welcome!

And if you’d rather just come along, listen and enjoy a wee dram, you’re more than welcome too! 🥃

The hope is to build a lovely wee musical community, so please spread the word, bring a friend and come along for a tune!

Everyone welcome – hope to see you tomorrow night! ❤️

As 2025 draws to a close, we want to raise a glass and say a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing patrons for your custom, support, and great company throughout the year. You’ve made it a special one for us 🥂
Tonight, as we welcome the New Year, we also take a moment to toast absent friends and family — those no longer with us, those far away, and those we carry in our hearts as the bells ring in the year ahead.

As Robert Burns so perfectly wrote:
“We’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.”

We’re open tonight for Hogmanay as a ticketed event, celebrating right through until 2am. Join us to see out the old year and welcome the new in good spirits.
Here’s to health, happiness, and kindness in the year ahead.
Happy New Year from all of us at Cleats🎆
