A bit of an honest post from us.

Like many independent businesses, we're feeling the pressure of rising costs and changing customer habits. As a result, we're having to take a good look at what The Thirsty Crow looks like going forward and where we invest our time, effort and money.

Since taking over The Crow seven months ago, we've listened to lots of suggestions, requests and ideas from customers. We've been asked about different beers, different events, different opening styles and all sorts of things we'd genuinely love to explore.

The challenge is that demand doesn't always match the reality when those things are put on. We've had requests for more unusual and experimental beers, but investing in them becomes difficult when sales don't justify the cost. The same applies to events and other ideas we'd love to bring to the pub.

The goal has never been to maximise profit, but we do need The Crow to be sustainable, and unfortunately we can't continue losing money.

So we'd like to ask for your honest feedback.
What do you want from The Thirsty Crow?
Would you prefer more live music, or would you rather see more opportunities to enjoy a quiet drink and conversation? Is there something we're missing completely? What would genuinely make The Crow somewhere you visit and support more regularly?

We're not looking for sympathy, just honest opinions. We'd rather hear what people really want than make assumptions and get it wrong.
Whether it's a comment below, a private message, or a chat over a pint, we'd genuinely appreciate hearing your thoughts.
