📣 We’re Looking for a New Kitchen Assistant / Trainee Commis Chef!

Firstly, we’d like to wish our fantastic Chef’s Assistant, Phoenix, all the very best as she heads off to university in Glasgow in August. We’ll miss having her as part of the team and wish her every success in her new adventure❤️

With Phoenix moving on, we’re now looking for someone new to join the kitchen team at Stobsmill Inn & Brunton’s Restaurant.

🍽️ Kitchen Assistant / Trainee Commis Chef

No need to be a qualified chef – we’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic about food, eager to learn, hardworking, and has a good understanding of kitchen hygiene.
Qualified chefs are also very welcome to apply.
Full-time or job-sharing will be considered.

🕒 Shifts: Thursday to Sunday
🔞 Applicants must be over 18.

We’re a friendly, local bar & restaurant looking for someone reliable, with a positive attitude and great communication skills. Kitchen experience is preferred but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Our restaurant will be closed from the 13th and will be back open as normal from Thursday 20th August.
