We would like to share the arrangements for Martin Laffertys funeral, this will be held at Coneyhill crematorium Thursday 1st October at 1pm. Refreshments to be held after the service at the Doctor Bar on Eastgate Street.

All who knew martin are welcome to attend.

ALL MEMBERS:

We have just started the re-decoration of the first floor lounge bar which will involve the following:

Remove old wall paper - repair any surface imperfections and paint in a light cream colour.

Remove and replace curtains and curtain poles.

Remove the outdated light fittings (ceiling and wall lights) and replace them with a more modern look.

Replace the old carpet (which is well beyond its sell by date) and replace with green flooring to match the new flooring tiles fitted in the top area of the lounge bar.

New window blinds.

New flooring adjacent to the bar area (removing the red surface and replacing it with a new flooring).

Replacing broken and discoloured ceiling tiles.

This process will happen over the next few weeks and everyone will be updated as the work is happening.

! ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS !

Please note that the re-scheduled 2026 AGM will be held on
Thursday 22nd October 2026 commencing at 7pm. The Agenda
will remain as previously published and the Nominations List will
remain unchanged. All of the business that was to be transacted
at the postponed AGM on the 9th July 2026 will be carried forward
to the 22nd October 2026. Can all Members please make every
effort to attend the AGM so as to ensure that we have a quorum
of at least 25 Members.

Family Fun Day:

A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Family Fun Day.
Although we were not blessed with great weather we still managed to have a great day. Special thanks to all our suppliers,
tenants, all of the stall holders and the staff team who, despite the
weather, made sure everyone had a fun filled day. Ruby Maher deserves a special mention for getting thoroughly soaked on the wet
sponge throwing stall - well done Ruby. Thank you to the handful of Members who made the effort to attend.
